3 Smoothies for Glowing Skin

It’s time for some real talk today ladies. Are you like me and struggling with break outs, chapped skin, and less than desirable glowing skin?

Girl, so am I.

This winter, like any winter, my skin is going crazy! I moisturize, drink lots of water each day, and work out and still my skin is dull, breaking out, and chapped beyond belief.

So what’s a girl to do?

Let me introduce you to my favorite meal and life saver this winter: my 3 smoothies for goddess glowing skin! Each day for lunch I eat a smoothie topped with delicious granola and fresh fruit and it’s starting to turn my skin around!

I blame it on the hearty greens I’ve been happily eating for the past week.

If you’re like me and have been struggling with your skin this winter, why not try one of my glowing skin smoothies to kick your body back into gear?

Winter is already hard enough to want to work out, drink water, and eat healthy. By the time you’re home from work and it’s already dark out, the motivation you had to exercise and cook a healthy meal just goes right out the window.

These smoothies are perfect for those on the go lunches and making your body feel good again.

Green Goddess Smoothie: 

1 1/2 cup of spinach
1 banana
1 cup pineapple
1/2 cup coconut water

Sunshine Smoothie: 

1 cup peaches
1 cup pineapple
1 cup mango
1/2 cup coconut water

Strawberry Delight Smoothie: 

1 cup strawberries
1 cup mango
1 cup pineapple
1/2 cup coconut water

Toppings: 

Granola
Coconut flakes
Chia seeds
Fresh cut fruit (I’ve been loving blueberries, blackberries, and bananas on mine!)

I love making these smoothies each Sunday (plus it’s part of my resolution to meal prep!) and seeing what new concoctions I can make. I typically stay with these three types of smoothies, at least for right now. When spring comes and there’s more fruit in the stores, I can’t wait to dive into more mango based smoothies.

If you really want to hop on the meal prep bandwagon, I typically make all these on Sunday night and store them in mason jars. Plus meals in mason jars are just really cute. Then each morning I can just grab one, throw it in my bag, and rush out the door. Now my mornings are less stressful, I know I’m eating a healthy lunch, and my skin is improving because of it!
