White Haute Nights- Beach Bums & Babes

I’m just bubbling with happiness everyone! You know when you wake up everyday excited to work and you know that’s your path in life? That’s exactly how I feel everyday when working with White Haute Nights as their new stylist. Each week we put together a new show centered around an idea and collaborate with local boutiques to make it happen. It’s such a great way to introduce new boutiques to the public and help everyone gain some exposure! A win-win in my book! Plus it’s such a great way to know more people in the booming fashion industry that’s happening here in Charleston.

Last week was my first week as stylist and we dipped our toes in the water with a playful beach look sponsored by Vestique, Parrot Surf Shop, and Salty Girls. Take a look below at all our fabulous models!

Each model wore a different type and print of swimsuit that would look fantastic on anyone relaxing by the beach this summer.

The first round of looks featured all the ladies wearing kimonos from Vestique and swimsuits by Salty Girls. I love how each piece is an extension of their personality. Plus they all rocked it and the crowd loved the various looks presented. The men did a wonderful job showing off their swimsuits and shirts, provided by Parrot Surf Shop. I loved pairing one look with a skateboard to showcase its versatility. Board shorts aren’t just for the water!

A group shot of the first collection. Doesn’t everyone look wonderful?

During the intermission when everyone changed into their second collection, entertainment was provided by the girls from Market Street Saloon where they performed a choreographed dance to “The Boots Were Made for Walking”.

One of my favorite looks that I did for the models was place gold temporary tattoos on them. It really just makes the outfits come together and pop under the spotlights!

I love the back of this one piece! It instantly just gives it a cooler look. One pieces aren’t for your grandma’s anymore!

For some of the girls, I reused their kimonos in a different way to showcase how verstile they were. They can easily be tied back or in front to create a new look that’s perfect for going to a restaurant after a beach day.

I’m so thrilled over how our first show went last week! This coming week, you’re not going to want to miss out! My first week as stylist was a very easy look to test the waters (no pun intended!) but from here on out, you can expect each week to be bigger, better, and more powerful than the last!

Check out White Haute Night’s Facebook page for all the latest details on our shows and pictures from the night.

What did you think of the collection? Would you want to buy any of the pieces? Stay tuned each week for more looks from the shows!
