What I’m Wearing: Roses

I’m not going to lie, the first song that popped into my head when I wore this rose dress was Outcasts’ Roses. No joke! If you haven’t heard of Roses, you’ve got to listen to it immediately and then come back to this post. Also, I guarantee it’ll be stuck in your head all day now (sorry not sorry!).

It’s been ages since I last wore any kind of floral print on the blog. There for a while I wasn’t really into wearing floral, even during the spring. I simply had grown out of the print but now it’s back in full force in my closet. I love how happy wearing floral makes me. If you are having a bad day, just simply look down at your dress and instantly, a smile will be back on your face! Or at least, that’s how I feel when wearing floral prints.

This roses dress is perfect for taking you straight from the office to drinks with the girls. Personally, that’s my favorite kind of outfit! This summer has been a constant flow of after work drinks, events, and dinners so I need outfits that can take me straight to those events with minimal touch ups to my hair and makeup.

Look how cute this milk purse is! If you haven’t noticed, these quirky little purses are all the rage right now. You can find purses shaped like lemons and watermelons, cactus, and even flowers right now! I love what a unique touch they bring to an outfit. Pairing a unique purse like this milk carton will make any outfit stand out from the crowd!

This has to be by far my favorite picture that Jennifer has ever taken of me. So shout out to my home girl right now! This picture just perfectly captures summertime in Charleston. Isn’t she just a rock star photographer? I’ll definitely be taking this dress with me on our vacation to the Dominican Republic next week. I can’t believe our vacation is almost here! I’ve been planning outfits for the past month and I’ve got some amazing outfits ready to show everyone. Follow me on Instagram to keep up with all my adventures in the DR. Trust me, you’re not going to want to miss what we’ll be doing. Can you say “catamaran to a private island?” because I sure can!

What’s your favorite work to drink look? Let me know in the comments!
