What I’m Wearing: Pesci Moda

Looking at this photo is giving me some serious wanderlust! We are back from our gorgeous stay at the Dream Punta Cana Resort and it’s pretty obvious how stunning the Dominican Republic is! On our first evening there and I just had to wear this show stopping number from Pesci Moda

I’m not one to wear bright, vibrant colors but I love how pink this dress is! I’ll never say no to a beautiful pink dress! It hugged all my curves wonderfully and I love the arched hem in the front. What a great way to show a little leg. This dress was a little out of my comfort zone but I took the risk and LOVE it!

I helped keep this outfit more on the demur side by pairing it with my favorite neutral lace up booties and purse from Urban Expressions. I felt so incredibly sexy in this dress, that’s not a side of me that I let out that often! P definitely enjoyed seeing me break out my long legs some more and showing off my body in a tighter fitting dress. It’s so terribly hard to wear tight clothing in Charleston. I’ll just sweat right through it in a matter of minutes when I’m outside! Because of this, I typically wear looser skirts and dresses to help keep cool. Now that temperatures are starting to cool off (because 90 is cool to us!) I can break this dress out for more dates with P.

Speaking of P, here is his first debut on Paper Meets Pearl! Can I just brag on him for one quick moment? He’s seriously the best partner ever and I am thrilled every day to be by his side. Our vacation to the Dominican Republic was an absolute dream and he was a huge part in making it a reality. He was a wonderful sport in taking my photos every day and does a phenomenal job helping me with the blog. I could seriously go on forever about him, but I won’t put you through that!

This is just one of the many wonderful outfits I took with me to the Dominican but it’s definitely one of my favorites. It’s vibrant color and sleek look fit right in with the culture and atmosphere in the Dominican. I can’t wait to wear it for a date night soon or on my upcoming trip to New York or Charlotte next month.

What’s one of your favorite date night looks? Have you ever gone out of your comfort zone and worn something totally different? I loved taking this risk and trying something a little different! Let me know your thoughts in the comments!
